Where is Golden Pond located?

Our 115 unit -apartment community, set on 7 acres, is located in a residential neighborhood, on North Ford Street, just off of State Highway 93 in Golden. Our location is convenient to shopping, medical services, churches, and just blocks from historic downtown Golden. See Map.

The two and three story buildings feature architecture that represents the best of Colorado living, and offer several rental apartment floor plans. Our community features beautiful landscaping with ponds, watercourses and territorial mountain views.

Where is Golden, Colorado located?

The Historic City of Golden is nestled in a valley 15 miles west of Denver at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The community is served by four major highways including Interstate 70, Colorado 470, US Highway 6, and State Highway 93, which provide a direct route to Denver, Boulder and neighboring foothills communities. The city’s population of 17,000 gives us the quality of life that you would expect in a small town with easy access to the services, amenities, events, and opportunities found in the Denver metro area.

Historic Golden is home to The Colorado School of Mines, Coors brewing, the Colorado Railroad Museum, and many other recreational, cultural, and historical landmarks.

What sort of apartments and amenities are available at Golden Pond?

Golden Pond Apartments feature one and two bedroom floor plans with full kitchens, washers and dryers, individually controlled heating and cooling, generous closet and storage space, and 24-hour emergency call system.

Golden Pond Assisted Living features studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments each with a kitchenette, private bath, individually controlled heating and cooling, and 24-hour emergency call system.

All residents have access to the community center as well as planned activities, transportation and amenities such as dining, beauty salon and barbershop, library, computer center, activity and recreation rooms, fitness center, theater, cable TV, and greenhouse areas.

What if my health changes and I need personal assistance?

Golden Pond Assisted Living can accommodate residents requiring personal care assistance which may include medication monitoring, grooming and bathing assistance, around-the-clock well-being monitoring, personal laundry, and stand-by or hands-on assistance with one or more of the activities of daily living.

Basic services in assisted living include a 24-hour staffing and emergency response system, three meals per day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, planned activities and scheduled transportation. Learn more about our Assisted Living offerings.

What are Golden Pond's lease terms and financial arrangements?

Golden Pond Senior Apartments is a rental retirement community. All apartments are rented under a one-year rental agreement, but you have the right to cancel at anytime with a 30-day notice. We require first and last month’s rent upon lease commencement.

Golden Pond Assisted Living and Meadows memory care units are leased on a month-to-month basis. You have the right to cancel with a 15- or 30-day notice depending on your circumstances. We require first and last month’s rent upon lease commencement.

Or you are always welcome to stop by our Marketing office at 1270 North Ford Street in Golden for a presentation of the community, to inquire about availability, or to select your apartment style. A fully refundable reservation deposit of $2,000 secures your placement on our wait list. If for any reason you do not move in to Golden Pond, your deposit will be promptly refunded.
